ODI Partners Hospitals to Expand Free Dialysis Programme, Project 35

The Olivehill Development Initiative (ODI), is proud to announce its strategic partnership with Coptic Hospital and Healing Stripes Dialysis Limited to expand its free dialysis programme, Project 35, with the goal of supporting chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients in Nigeria.

A statement issued to LEADERSHIP, by Uka Eje,founder of ODI,said the collaboration leverages ODI’s vision, Coptic Hospital’s medical expertise, and Healing Stripes’dialysis capabilities to enhance access to life-saving treatment for millions of CKD patients in the country.

“With Project 35, we are alleviating the burden on families and ensuring that patients receive the life-saving treatment they need.

“Dr Andrew Labib, managing director of Coptic Hospital, and matron Kate Enyinna, head of operations at Healing Stripes Dialysis Limited, have reaffirmed their commitment to delivering high-quality care through this collaboration.

“Since its inception, Project 35 has provided critical dialysis sessions to underprivileged patients, addressing the growing prevalence of kidney disease.

“Through this partnership, ODI and its hospital collaborators will scale up treatment capacity, ensuring that more patients receive the care they desperately need without cost barriers.

“By scaling up to serve 35 patients in three months, this partnership makes a significant step towards reducing healthcare disparities in Nigeria.

“It provides a lifeline to those struggling with the cost of CKD treatment and demonstrates how collaboration can drive meaningful change in access to essential care.”The statement read.
