Wellcare Home Medicals Limited has marked its 20th anniversary with a medical outreach for 1,000 older people in Apapa and Surulere in Lagos.

The initiative offered various free services – from blood sugar checks and eye tests to dental care, consultations, and essential medications. Each participant also received a food package, underscoring the organisation’s focus on holistic care.

In a statement yesterday, Ambassador Jumoke Odunsi, founder and chief executive of Wellcare Home Medicals, reaffirmed her organisation’s two decades of dedication to the elderly.

“For 20 years, our mission has been to give back, to add life to years, and to provide professional support to those who often struggle with healthcare access,” she said.

Over the years, Wellcare has become a lifeline for many families in Lagos, offering home medical and caregiving support that bridges the gap for vulnerable senior citizens.
