Abiodun’s directive was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Tokunbo Talabi which was addressed to the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission.

LEADERSHIP learnt that the fees had been paid for long by applicants seeking to be employed into the state’s civil service.

These fees were charged on behalf of third-party independent examiners who administer and supervise the CBT Tests and examination centres.

The statement noted that the state government acknowledged the current economic situation in the country and considered the ultimate aim of the recruitment exercise in alleviating the suffering of the citizens and create employment in the state.
