Niyi John Olajide is a United States US)-based technology entrepreneur, owner of healthcare technology company called Axxess, who in partnership with its global partner, Cavista, has a massive presence in North America, Asia, Europe, Australia and Africa, boasting of more than 1,200 employees from over 45 countries.

Technology, especially, the advancement of the Internet, has made accessibility and shareability of information and ideas much easier across the world. As a Nigerian from Erinmope-Ekiti, Olajide decided that investing in Nigeria was essential.

I am passionate about increasing access to quality healthcare for people everywhere in the world and with technology, we can make that possible.”

“This spurred my interest in partnering with Cavista Nigeria. Today, Cavista is creating solutions to the challenging issues of health care delivery in Nigeria and employing great young minds to solve problems, rather than allowing them to leave Nigeria to use their skills to develop in another country.”

Olajide started his dream of creating the global healthcare technology company with a two-person staff in a rented apartment after graduation from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in telecommunications engineering.

He has shown what can be accomplished with an unwavering focus on intentional leadership.

Olajide and his team’s focus on excellence in developing its software solutions led Axxess to become the first software platform to be awarded the seal of “CHAP Verified” from Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), the accrediting body for home and community-based health care organizations in the U.S.

Olajide has served on the board of directors of the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce and was its youngest-ever Board Chair in its 113-year history in 2020. During that time, he successfully led the most prosperous business community in the U.S. through the coronavirus pandemic.

He serves on the board of the Corporate Council on Africa, which promotes U.S. business and investment in Africa, as well as on the board of the Presidential Precinct in the United States, which engages and inspires emerging leaders in Africa and around the world to address challenges in their countries.

In 2016, he was recognized as the youngest-ever Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Texas at Dallas where he recently endowed the largest scholarship fund for the Engineering School for Computer Science students.
