Represented by the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Akeem Mobolaji Adewoyin, at a meeting with the Council of Traditional Baales in Ibadanland at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo Ibadan, Ladoja requested prayers and the unalloyed support to move Ibadan in particular and Oyo State in general forward.

Oba Ladoja emphasised, “Ibadanland is known to enjoy peaceful coexistence irrespective of differences in language, religion, and tribe. Therefore, I urge you all to remain peaceful and be your brothers’ keepers.”

Earlier, the President of the Council of Ibadanland Traditional Baales, Baale (Elite) Oladapo Wasiu Atilola, said they were in the palace to celebrate the departure of the late Oba Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin 1), an achiever, peace-loving, and philanthropist, and to heartily welcome the incoming Olubadan of Ibadanland.

He stressed, “We are here to showcase our loyalty to the Olubadan designate and to assure him of our unalloyed allegiance.”
