The chief executive officer of Co-Net Technologies, Godwin Omage, has felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 73rd birthday.
He also commended his leadership, vision, and dedication to Nigeria’s progress.
In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, Omage lauded the president’s bold decisions and unwavering commitment to national development.
“On this special day, I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating your life, leadership, and steadfast dedication to our great nation. Your bold vision and audacious decisions have set Nigeria on a transformative path, and for that, history will remember you,” Omage said.
He also offered prayers for Tinubu, wishing him wisdom, good health, and continued strength to lead the country with integrity and justice.
Reflecting on the demands of leadership, Omage acknowledged Tinubu’s sacrifices and urged him to prioritize his well-being amidst political pressures.
“Long life is not good enough, but a good life is long enough. If fatigue ever sets in, do not let adversaries force you into decisions that could tarnish your legacy. A good name is better than riches,” he added.
Omage particularly hailed Tinubu’s role in advancing education and youth development, highlighting the establishment of a Sports University in Owan Federal Constituency as a significant milestone. He called on the president to ensure the timely mobilisation of contractors for the project.
Looking ahead, Omage expressed support should Tinubu seek re-election beyond 2027, while also acknowledging the importance of rest after years of dedicated service.
“You have given us an enabling environment to test our creativity, even though some within your administration seek to frustrate our efforts. We will continue pushing Nigeria’s image on different platforms until our voices reach your table,” he stated.
Omage further urged the government to provide greater support for Nigerian startups, particularly in the fintech and innovation sectors.
He lamented the financial struggles faced by young entrepreneurs and the exploitation by foreign investors, calling on Tinubu to implement policies that protect and promote local businesses.
“Mr. President, you have been blessed with visionary youths eager to help you succeed. Politics is not the only force that shapes a nation—innovators are leading in that category. As you celebrate this new year, I urge you to resolve to protect Nigerians, especially those driving innovation and technology,” he said.
Reaffirming his commitment to national development, Omage wished President Tinubu continued success in his leadership.
He said, “May this message be received in good faith, for the prosperity of our dear nation.”
