Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has sworn in the new acting chief judge of Ondo State, Justice Ayedun Olusegun Odusola.
Akeredolu represented by his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, while inaugurating the acting chief judge said the government would continue to support the judiciary in the administration of fair and equitable Justice for all and sundry.
The inauguration of the Justice Ayedun Odusola had in attendance top government functionaries from the three arms of government to witness a new phase in the judicial system of the state.
The acting governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, congratulated Justice Ayedun Odusola stressing that the executive would remain in its resolve not to interfere in the duties of the acting chief judge.
The ceremony which was held at the Executive Council Chamber, Governor’s Office, Alagbaka Akure was witnessed by the minister of state, Federal Ministry of Transportation, immediate past Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Williams Akintoroye and his wife, Cecilia.
Others in attendance were: Ondo State House of Assembly Speaker, David Oleyelogun, represented by the chairman House Committee on Information Youth and Sports, Akogun Olugbenga Omole, secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, chief of staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, chairman, Ondo State All Progressives Congress(APC), Ade Adetimehin, State Executive Council members, the president, Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Eunice Alade, among others.
