As the Ondo State governorship election draws closer, a chieftain of the APC, High Chief Francis Soriwei, has called on the party leadership and members to maximally support the candidate of the party and governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa

Soriwei, who is the chairman, Akpoyerin Group of Companies Limited and senior special assistant, oil & gas to former GMD NNPC, Edmund Daukoru, said the APC candidate should be given the support to ensure victory for the party because his victory is for all members of the party.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, he described Governor Aiyedatiwa as a child of necessity and a unifier who would carry all stakeholders along.

He said: “Before now I had assured people that His Excellency, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, would emerge as the gubernatorial candidate of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“He has eventually emerged and my take in all that is currently playing out ahead of elections is for the people of Ondo State to team up with him or work for him.”
