The party, at the inauguration of the Special Interest Committee and unveiling of APC 700,000 Votes for Sure held in Akure, urged members to go back to various wards and Local government to start aggressive mobilisation towards achieving the goals

Addressing the gathering, the state governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, said, “We are working to secure a landslide victory for the APC. I am confident that we can achieve our goal of 700,000 votes with everyone’s hard work and dedication.”

Represented by the Deputy Governor, Olayide Adelami, Aiyedatiwa urged the members to redouble their efforts to achieve the set goal.

He says, “It is essential to reach every corner of the state, from urban centres to rural communities, ensuring that voters are informed and motivated to participate on election day.

“We need to double our efforts in every way possible. This means more outreach, more engagement, and more education. We can’t leave anything to chance. The opposition has been decimated. This election is ours to win, and with the efforts we’re putting in, we will send a strong message to anyone who doubts us.

“Voter card collection is crucial. We must ensure that our people collect their cards and are prepared to vote on November 16,” he stressed.

In his address, Prince Biyi Poroye, Chairman of the Special Interest Committee (SIC), assured that the committee will expand its voter outreach by increasing the number of mobilisers per polling unit.

Poroye said, “We’ve laid a strong foundation today. Instead of 10 mobilisers per unit, we’re increasing it to 20. This will give us the manpower to reach every voter and ensure our victory at the polls.

“Some may doubt we can achieve 700,000 votes, but we’ve seen it before. We may record fewer than 100 votes in some units, but we’re looking at 500 or even more in others. The numbers are there, and we’re ready to make it happen.”
