Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, has lauded Senator Babajide Omoworare for his commitment to developing Ile-Ife.

The monarch who gave the commendation for commissioning a network of roads he constructed in different parts of Ile-Ife said Omoworare’s legacy of service, leadership, and dedication to community development has deeply enriched the lives of many people and the community.

The Ooni said: “Senator Omoworare exemplifies the noble ideals of humility, integrity, and commitment to the betterment of his people.

“Today, as he commissions the new roads he has constructed in different parts of Ile-Ife, we are reminded of his visionary spirit and unwavering dedication to uplifting his beloved community”, the monarch posited.

In his address at commissioning the 10 Ife city roads and the ‘light up Ile-Ife project’, Omoworare reiterated his commitment to community service and development.

He stressed the importance of a network of good roads to mankind, adding that roads of immediate significance to the people should be the focus of serious government, not white elephant projects that are unimportant for now.

Omoworare charged governments at all levels and private individuals with the need to tackle food security, adding that governments should be interested in assisting farmers in boosting food production.
