Orban will join Hoffenheim on a permanent transfer ending his troubled stay at the French club.
Hoffenheim will pay approximately €9m as a fixed fee including bonuses.

Ligue 1 club, RC Lens were also interested in the young striker but failed to meet Lyon’s valuation.
The 21-year-old linked up with Lyon from Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent in January 2023.

Orban had a slow start in his first season at Lyon, scoring only one league goal in 13 league appearances.
The energetic striker however scored twice in three appearances in the Coupe de France.

On his first appearance in the 2024–25 season, he came off the bench with Lyon trailing 3–2 against Strasbourg and scored twice in nine minutes to win the game for his team.
