Amedspor attacker Gift Orban has been awarded the Turkish Süper Lig’s Goal of the Month prize for September after his spectacular effort in a 3-2 home win against Beşiktaş.
The 24-year-old Nigeria international struck in the 13th minute, producing a fierce long-range shot that handed Amedspor an early advantage.
Orban arrived at Amedspor in July on a season-long loan from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim and has settled quickly in Turkey.
Under manager Besnik Hasi, the forward has registered seven goals and two assists in six league outings.
That form has lifted him to the top of the Süper Lig scoring chart, where he is currently tied with Trabzonspor forward Mohamed Salah.
Amedspor sit first in the league table and will next be in action on Saturday, October 10, away to Gençlerbirliği.
