Organisers List Goals Of Lagos Info Tech Exhibition

Organisers of the forthcoming IoT West Africa Conference and Exhibition have said it is designed to change the face of data management and allied sectors in Nigeria.

Named ‘IoT West Africa’, the event is scheduled from July 4-6, 2023 at Landmark Centre, Lagos,

They said IoT West Africa Conference and Exhibition is a global platform aimed at driving excellence in the field of technology and encouraging developments in Nigeria.

The event, according to the organisers, has been put in place to integrate businesses and help them expand their brand’s footprints across the globe, contributing to the tech ecosystem.

No fewer than 3,000 visitors and over 800 conference delegates will participate in the three-day event. They will engage in keynote speeches, panel discussions and round-table conferences and share ideas and insights into the evolving global scenario of the tech ecosystem.

Commenting on the conference, the chief information technical officer of Nigeria, Mr Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, said, “Embracing the IoT, West Africa pioneers a connected future where tradition meets innovation, thereby creating job opportunities, empowering communities, and forging a path to prosperity for the entire sub-region.”

The event will also unveil the Data Centres Live, a platform for digital and cloud infrastructure, delivering a dedicated space to businesses for their computer systems and components for enhancing telecommunications as well as storage systems. The Data Centers Live will provide an opportunity for collaborations with the power utility sector as well, integrating systems for an enhanced sustainable future of Nigeria.

Among the big tech companies featuring in the exhibition are IoT Africa Networks-Sigfox Operator, Tranter IT, UnoTelos, Arravo, Vertiv, Zoracom, Ritesim.com among others.

The event will create a global impact in the technological ecosystem, cater to the expanding demands of innovations and applications regarding digital energy, security, payment processing systems, healthcare, Fintech, and more.
