Young serial investor, Osborn Nweze Umahi, is emerging as a powerhouse businessman in Nigeria and in Africa.

Born 24 years ago, Osborne Nweze, the son of minister of Works, Dave Umahi, is changing the narrative about the reliance of sons of the rich on the pedigree and profile of their parents. Groomed and sharpened by his father, a giant in Nigeria’s construction and engineering sector, Osborn Nweze has demonstrated that age does not qualify for maturity by his accomplishments and chasing his own purpose and vision.

Osborne Nweze, like many of his peers, was exposed to learning in some of the best academic environments in the world. However, what he has attained with the quality education he was fortunate to have acquired, has been the difference in his story, and not the affluence. He became a degree holder as a teenager when he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Surreal University in the United Kingdom five years ago. In 2022, he completed his master’s degree in Finance and Investment Management from Aberdeen University.

Even as a young chap, Osborn Nweze demonstrated a huge sense of responsibility and direction. He effectively managed Brass Oil and Construction Limited, a family business, before the sectors formed the crux of interest and personal investment.

The astute tycoon is also a real estate mogul. He has reshaped the Nigerian real estate landscape, deploying modern technology, safety and redefining durability in the sector operating in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, and across some of the major cities in the country.

Osborn Nweze yet achieved the biggest milestone in his already-amazing storyline, with the heralding of Osborn Nweze’s La Palm Resort in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The five-star facility avails a window into the mindset of an intellect that he is. It is a headline project in his investments in the property business.

The size and magnificence of the La Palm Resort attracts the cream de la creme in the Nigerian business and entertainment circle, including the likes of Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana; Nollywood actor, movie producer and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate World Entertainment; AY Makun, and Chairman of Five Star Group Limited, Chief Emeka Okonkwo, better known as E-Money. The Osborn Nweze’s La Palm Resort has become the choiced relaxation spot for elites and politicians in the country.
