A statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo by the Publicly Secretary of the party, Wole Adunola stated that the resolution was taken at a special session of the state executive committee meeting of the party which also had in attendance local party chairmen of the party across the state and members of the state working committee.

Comrade Wole Adunola, disclosed that Tajudeen Lawal has led the party excellently well since he assumed office, hence the justification of the resolution to confirm him as substantive chairman of the party.

“Lawal has ensured that the party’s structures are intact across all the local governments, wards and units in the state.

“He has brought to the table his sound party administration of many decades and grassroots mobilisation skill which has begun to galvanize the party’s strength in the state.”
