The state commissioner for Tourism, Mr Abiodun Ojo, who pledged after the facility tour of Prinaj Hotel, Resort and Suites, Ere-Ijesa in Oriade local government area of the state at the weekend, described the facilities on the ground as one that can compete favourably with the standard available anywhere in the world.

He contended that the Osun state government recognises the need for facilities that attract both investors and visitors. “This kind of facility is assisting the government to carry out critical functions of job creation. It also helps us stimulate the economy of this community and beyond. We will continue encouraging investors to bring this kind of facility to our communities, mainly rural areas in the state.

“Jobs are being created, the local economy is being stimulated, and the people are the better for it. We will continue to provide an enabling environment to investors interested in partnering with us. I am impressed with this facility, and the government will be ready to ensure its profitable use in whatever way possible”.

Speaking on behalf of the proprietor, Prof. Wole Ajifolokun, former Osun commissioner for Finance, Dr Wale Bolorunduro, stressed the need for the government to support and patronise the facility and said the proprietor’s sacrifice requires government support to boost the Adeleke administration’s local content policy.
