It has prioritised revamping the existing infrastructure while ensuring that the roads and transportation systems align with its vision for a sustainable cultural and tourism industry.
“This kind of facility is assisting the government to carry out critical functions of job creation. It also helps us stimulate the economy of this community and beyond. We will continue encouraging investors to bring this kind of facility to our communities, mainly rural areas in the state.
“Jobs are being created, the local economy is being stimulated, and the people are the better for it. We will continue to provide an enabling environment to investors interested in partnering with us. I am impressed with this facility, and the government will be ready to ensure its profitable use in whatever way possible”.
Speaking on behalf of the proprietor, Prof. Wole Ajifolokun, former Osun commissioner for Finance, Dr Wale Bolorunduro, stressed the need for the government to support and patronise the facility and said the proprietor’s sacrifice requires government support to boost the Adeleke administration’s local content policy.
He contended that the hotel facility has put the Ere-Ijesa community on the world map, adding that putting such a monumental edifice in such an environment should attract the government’s support to encourage others to invest in the Osun economy.
