The Osun State government has announced plans to host a Trade and Investment Roundtable Summit scheduled for October 2025.
The commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Trade and Investment, Rev. Bunmi Jenyo, confirmed the development on Thursday while receiving the prime consultants for the project—Chairman and CEO of Ecosystem Africa Prestige Limited, Rume Ogane, and CEO of Vanom Global Nigeria Limited, Onome Ogo, —at his office.
Jenyo expressed excitement about the partnership and the preparatory work already underway for the summit.
He noted that this year’s edition is expected to build on the success of previous events, consolidating the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s “Imole” agenda in repositioning Osun State as an investment hub.
“The summit will showcase a wide range of social and infrastructural developments that reaffirm Osun State’s readiness for business,” the commissioner said.
The prime consultants, in their remarks, thanked the state government and the commissioner’s office for the trust placed in them. They pledged to leverage their extensive experience—having served as consultants for the Plateau State Tourism Corporation, organisers of the Jos Family Christmas Festival, the largest of its kind in North Central Nigeria, and currently involved in the planning of the Nigerian University Games (NUGA 2025).
On their parts, Rume Ogane and Onome Ogo assured that they would work closely with the commissioner’s office to identify and explore investment opportunities, technical partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional avenues.
Their aim, is not only to ensure the success of the Investment Roundtable summit but also to support the broader vision of the Governor Adeleke-led administration, he concluded.
