Osun-Osogbo Festival: Stakeholders Charged On 2024 Celebration

Corporate bodies, government agencies and private individuals have been enjoined to collaborate with organisers of the 2024 Osun-Osogbo festival to make this year’s celebration unique and a monumental success.

The media manager, Osun-Osogbo Festival, Mr. Oyindamola Olukanni, who made the call in a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo, disclosed that the annual event will kick off on July 29 through August 9, 2024.

Olukanni urged stakeholders to join hands with the organisers to showcase the best of Nigeria’s rich culture to the world, adding that “Osun-Osogbo continues to be a beacon of our shared heritage and collective pride.”

His words: “The Osun-Osogbo Festival, Nigeria’s premier cultural celebration is set to take place from July 29th to August 9th, 2024. This iconic festival, renowned for its rich tradition and vibrant displays of Yoruba heritage, draws participants and spectators from across the globe.

“This year, the Osun-Osogbo Festival promises to be more spectacular than ever. We are excited to announce a series of events that will honour our cultural heritage, foster unity and celebrate the essence of Osun-Osogbo Festival.”

While calling for sponsorship, Olukanni charged corporate organisations and government agencies to leverage the festival’s UNESCO World Heritage status to enhance their brand prestige.

He assured participants of adequate security during the celebrations, adding that all machinery has been put in motion to ensure a hitch free celebration.
