Famurewa stated this while playing host to Osun youth group, under the aegis of the Coalition of Past Ifeland Statesmen (CPIS), led by Musefiu Kolawole Afolabi.

He said the present administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at federal and state levels have consistently displayed very serious sense of responsibility for youth inclusion in governance, noting that more youths would be involved in governance.

He recapped his petition at the floor of the House against National Examination Council (NECO) that withheld the results for a private school in Osun and had the results released after his intervention, saying that if given the support, he will sponsor and co-sponsor youth friendly bills and other bills that will favour the strata of the society.

The youths visit was to press home their demand for more efforts by stakeholders at increasing their involvement in governance.

The group however, commended Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola whose  administration ensured there was no causality.
