Governor of Abia State Alex Otti has mourned the passage of former president, Muhammadu Buhari and commiserated with the federal government over his death.

This was contained in a condolence message by the governor’s special adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma which was made available to LEADERSHIP in Umuahia, the state capital.
The statement read, “Governor Alex Otti, has received the sad news of the passing of the immediate past president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Mohammadu Buhari.”

”Otti sends his condolences to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the government, and the family of the deceased former president.”

Otti, on behalf of his family and the people of the state enjoined the former president’s family and loved ones to bear his demise with fortitude, while praying that God grants his soul eternal repose.
