A sociopolitical youth group in the South East geopolitical zone, Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), has congratulated the governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti on his victory at the Supreme Court, saying that his victory is a sign of more good things to come.

In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, president-general of the group, Comrade Goodluck Ibem said, the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Mr Okey Ahaiwe and the APC gubernatorial candidate Mr Ikechi Emenike should apologise to Ndi-Abia for distracting Governor Otti whom the people of Abia had freely chosen.

“We commend the judiciary for defending democracy and for upholding the truth on who the good people of Abia State gave their mandate.
“The victory of Governor Otti at the Supreme Court is a call for more hard work, development, performance and transformational leadership.

“We call on Ndi-Abia to disregard the antics of anti-democratic forces in the state who failed woefully to distract Governor Otti with mischievous litigations. Abia is in safe hands. We commend Governor Otti for bringing Abia out from 8 years in Egypt into the promised land. The people are very happy for the judgement.
