The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr Dennis Otuaro, has assured leaders and beneficiaries across Phases 1, 2 and 3 that no one will be left out of the ongoing Leadership Training Programme.

Otuaro gave the assurance after a high-level meeting with the former agitators and their leaders in Abuja on Wednesday, where key issues affecting the programme were discussed.

He explained that the training was being carried out in batches and segments to ensure proper coordination and effectiveness, adding that all beneficiaries have already been captured and scheduled.

Otuaro urged those yet to participate in the training to remain calm and patient, stressing that the programme is designed to accommodate everyone in an orderly manner.

“The leadership training is being conducted in batches, and all beneficiaries have been properly captured. No one will be excluded from the programme,” Otuaro said.

The PAP Administrator also assured beneficiaries that efforts were being made to ensure they have something to smile about during the Christmas season.

He noted that festive support and outreach would be extended to beneficiaries through their camp leaders and phase leadership structures.

“In the spirit of Christmas, we are committed to ensuring that leaders and beneficiaries feel the impact of the programme during this festive period,” he added.

Reacting to the meeting’s outcome, the National Chairman of PAP Phase 2, Ibena Salvation, called on all beneficiaries to remain peaceful, patient, and supportive of the current administration.

“I urge all leaders and beneficiaries to stay calm, maintain peace and continue to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the leadership of Chief Dr Dennis Burutu Otuaro,” he said.

Salvation emphasised that unity and cooperation among beneficiaries were essential to the success of the Programme and the overall development of the Niger Delta.

He described the Abuja meeting as fruitful, adding that the highlight was the review of a five-point agenda, which included leadership training and empowerment, local and overseas scholarships, vocational training, Christmas packages, and the resolution of BVN-related issues affecting stipend payments.
