Ekiti State governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has dissolved the state executive council.
The governor announced this in a statement signed by the secretary to the state government (SSG), Prof. Habibat Adubiaro.
he said the affected commissioners and special advisers are to hand over to the permanent secretaries or the most senior civil servants in their MDAs.
Oyebanji thanked the affected members of the council and wished them success in their future endeavours.
However, the dissolution did not affect the state attorney-general and the commissioner for justice.
The dissolution also did not affect the commissioner for Health and Human Services, commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, commissioner for Education, commissioner for Works, commissioner for Trade, Investment, Industry and Cooperatives, special adviser for special Education and Social Inclusion, and special adviser for Lands, Survey and e-GIS.
Also, all directors-general members of the State Executive Council retained their positions. They are the DGs of the Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD); SDGs and Project Monitoring, and the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP)
