A political support group, the BAO Grassroots Support for President Tinubu, has hailed the resolve of Governor Biodun Oyebanji to ensure that the people of Ekiti State deliver more votes in support of the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

The group said, Governor Oyebanji has proved severally that he is a disciple of the Renewed Hope Agenda and a supporter of President Tinubu’s reform from which Ekiti is benefiting across the key sectors of the economy.

The group was reacting to Governor Oyebanji’s remarks at the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Secretariat in Abuja while submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms in which he made case for a higher vote tally for the president in 2027 in appreciation for what has accrued to the state since May 2023.

According to a statement by its state coordinator, Prince Tunji Ogunlola and the director of publicity, Mr Odunayo Ogunmola, the group noted that the governor spoke the mind of the majority of the people of the state who are appreciative of what the president has done in the areas of stabilising and steadying the nation’s economy and preventing it from total collapse.

The BAO Grassroots Support for President Tinubu also lauded Governor Oyebanji for using the opportunity of submitting his nomination to appreciate the nation’s number one citizen on the availability of more federal allocation to states, which has enabled them to give their workers higher pay packets, execute more projects and meet other obligations.
