Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has restated its commitment to the full realisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.

The party also enjoined every citizen to keep faith and refrain from acts capable of distracting the current federal government under the current administration which, it noted, was poised to put the nation on the track of accelerated development, prosperity and stability.

Publicity Secretary of the APC in the state, Olawale Sadare gave the commitment in a statement on Monday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Sadare stressed that the Renewed Hope mantra represents an embodiment of Tinubu’s electioneering campaign promises which have now metamorphosed into a pivot stand upon which the president has placed his official performance compass.

Similarly, the statement hailed the appointment on Friday of APC’s state chairman, Pharmacist Olayide Abas as the Board Chairman of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, in Kaduna.

The party hailed the appointment as another indication that Tinubu was prepared to work with quality people to deliver on his promise to Nigerians.

“There no gainsaying the fact that President Tinubu was prepared for the task of driving the ship of the country to the desired promise land as he hit the ground running.

“He has taken many bold steps aimed at addressing the nation’s age-long socio-economic and political challenges while he keeps working harder to ensure the full manifestation of results expected from all the reforms and efficacious policies which his government has introduced so far,” Sadare said.

The statement added that President Tinubu deserves the support and cooperation of all Nigerians and friends of Nigeria at this critical moment, noting “it is on this note that we urge every citizen of the country to replace undue sentiments, politics of bitterness and personal vendetta in their minds with a great sense of patriotism and humanity by joining hands with the president to move the country forward.

“With the recent appointment of our state chairman and other eminent patriots into key positions at the federal level, we are further convinced that President Tinubu would not leave any stone unturned to facilitate efficiency and productivity in all the sectors of the nation’s economy.”

APC said discerning minds can now appreciate the fact that Tinubu’s leadership is premised in strategic thinking, developmental strides and a commitment to democracy.

It hailed the president’s inclusive governance and willingness to partner all stakeholders for national development as reflecting his zeal for a greater and better Nigeria in no time.

The party expressed the confidence that Abas will bring his wealth of experience, competence and personal virtue to the fore in his new appointment by the President, just like others appointed from Oyo State before him have been doing. “So, we hope for more appointments as the Pacesetter state remains the hub of talents and patriots,” Oyo APC added.
