The Oyo State Government, through the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has sealed Kilimanjaro, a popular eatery over alleged violation of environmental laws.

The eatery situated at the Ojoo area of Ibadan, the state capital was accused of violating environmental laws on waste management.

Environmental health officers sealed the Ojoo outlet of the eatery for engaging unregistered waste contractors.

The officials, led by the Commissioner, AbdulMojeed Mogbonjubola, continued to make progress in sanitising the state in the strides towards enforcing the environmental laws.

This development was consistent with Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to upholding environmental standards.
