Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Nureni Adeniran yesterday said the state government has put in place deliberate policies to encourage basic education for children, especially in the face of the global economic meltdown.
The SUBEB chairman who felicitated with pupils in the state, as they celebrated Children’s Day, stressed that children, both in public and private schools deserve the best form of education, as they were the most vital asset of the state.

He wished Nigerian children, especially pupils in public basic schools across the state, a rewarding celebration.
