Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sharafadeen All has mourned the death of Abisola Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
LEADERSHIP reports that the late Abisola died in London, the United Kingdom on Thursday at the age of 42.
Alli described her demise of the former governor’s daughter as a tragic and painful loss, not just to her family but to Oyo State and the nation at large.
He noted that Abisola, who served as special adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu before her death, was a brilliant and accomplished professional, whose contributions would be sorely missed.
The lawmaker extended his heartfelt condolences to her husband, Idris Kolapo Kola-Daisi, her beloved mother, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, and the entire Kola-Daisi and Ajimobi families.
He prayed that God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
“Bisola was a woman of grace, intellect, and dedication, who upheld the values of excellence and service.
“Her sudden departure is deeply heartbreaking. I pray that the Almighty grants her eternal rest and comforts her loved ones in this difficult time,” Alli prayed.
He urged friends, associates, and the people of Oyo State to stand in solidarity with the grieving families, offering prayers and support as they navigate this moment of sorrow.
Similarly, the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Oyo State chapter, said it received the news of the demise of its matron, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi’s daughter, with great shock and sadness.
“Our heart goes out to Her Excellency, Mrs. Ajimobi, and the entire Ajimobi family during this difficult time.
“As a matron of our association, Mrs. Ajimobi has been a pillar of support and guidance. Her daughter, Abisola Kola-Daisi was a shining example of her mother’s values and legacy.
“We pray that God grants the Ajimobi family the strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May Bisola’s soul rest in perfect peace”, NAWOJ said.
