Oyo State government has threatened to penalise principals and class teachers in public schools who failed to prepare e-assessment report sheets for their students .
This was contained in a memo addressed to all tutors-general on January 12,2024 by the permanent secretary, Post-primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Mr.Kafari Babajide.
He warned that any principal or class teacher who failed to comply with the directive on or before January 30, 2024, would be penalised.
Babajide said, “The state government is keenly interested that all students in the public secondary are issued e-assessment report sheets for the just-concluded first term in 2023/2024 academic session.
“The letter directed all concerned principals and class teachers to act on the assignment on or before January 30, 2024. The letter warned that any principal or class teacher who failed to comply with directive will be penalised.’’
Before the first term break, the Ministry of Education, Science and Ttechnology under the commissioner, Prof Salihu Abdulwaheed Adelabu, had directed schools in Oyo State to supply the biodata of students and their parents on EduMix platform.
