Nigerian brand influencer Abike Halima Raheem, also known as ‘Papaya Ex’, has responded to allegations made by her personal assistant, Muna, dismissing them as false. She said both Muna and her brother had misrepresented events.

According to Papaya Ex, she pays her assistant N300,000 monthly and also covers accommodation and feeding for her and her brother. She further alleged that Muna had been stealing from her and listed several items and sums of money she claimed were taken.

To support her claims, the influencer shared a video showing what she described as her account statement.

She explained that Muna handled financial transactions on her behalf, including payments from brands and other business deals.

Papaya Ex also alleged that two smartphones and cash running into millions of naira went missing.

The video sparked mixed reactions online. While some users questioned her claim of paying a N300,000 monthly salary and called for proof, others backed her account.

Supporters pointed to payment records she reportedly shared on Snapchat, arguing that the role came with benefits many job seekers would value.

In her words:

“There is a statement of account. Why are you lying? We lodged you in a house and gave you transportation. Is N300k too small with accommodation and daily upkeep? You stole N2 million, an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and misplaced an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Do you know how much we spent trying to trace the phone? Everyone knows they get alerts from you, and brands pay into your account.”
