To strengthen its continental media presence, The Papyrus Global has signed a strategic media partnership agreement with Telentz Media ahead of the 2026 edition of its flagship event, PAGLOGMA.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on February 18, 2026, formalises Telentz Media as an official media partner for the upcoming The Papyrus Global Local Government Chairmen/Mayors Award and Conference (PAGLOGMA), scheduled to hold from April 29 to May 1, 2026, in Abuja, Nigeria.

The partnership underscores The Papyrus Global’s commitment to expanding its visibility across Africa and deepening cross-border media collaboration as it prepares to host what is widely regarded as one of the continent’s most influential gatherings of local government leaders.

PAGLOGMA 2026 is expected to convene local government chairmen, mayors, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, ambassadors, high commissioners, international development partners, policy experts, and other dignitaries from more than 20 African countries. The conference aims to provide a high-level platform for dialogue, policy exchange, recognition of excellence, and strengthened continental cooperation at the grassroots governance level.

Under the terms of the agreement, Telentz Media will deliver comprehensive coverage across all phases of the event. Pre-event activities will include strategic publicity campaigns, press releases, social media promotions, and feature stories highlighting selected nominees and speakers.

During the conference, Telentz Media will provide on-ground and virtual coverage, conduct exclusive interviews with award recipients and high-profile delegates, and produce multimedia reports to ensure broad audience engagement. Post-event responsibilities will include the publication of conference outcomes, event highlights, interviews, and archival materials to sustain momentum and visibility beyond the conference dates.

The agreement also grants Telentz Media exclusive media access, including VIP passes, priority interviews with top officials, and direct engagement with international delegates. In addition, the media organization will benefit from enhanced brand visibility through placement on official backdrops, banners, publicity materials, and other communication channels associated with the conference.

Speaking on the development, Managing Director of The Papyrus Global, Hon. Chief Doofan Damsa-Justin, described the partnership as a strategic milestone.

This collaboration not only strengthens our media reach but also enhances the visibility of our continental awards and conference. Together, we aim to shine a spotlight on impactful leadership at the local government level and promote greater unity and excellence across Africa,” he said.

With preparations intensifying, the strategic alliance signals a renewed push by The Papyrus Global to position PAGLOGMA 2026 as a premier continental forum for governance, recognition, and transformative leadership.
