Payment Of MRTF, CONMESS Excites Kwara Resident Doctors

The Association of Resident Doctors at the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital (ARD-KWASUTH) has commended  the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for approving the payment of 2024 Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS) for its members with two months arrears.

The president of the association, Dr Abdulfatai AbdulAzeez, made the commendation while speaking with LEADERSHIP in Ilorin, the state capital.

He disclosed that the government has also commenced the payment of the

the Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF) allowance.

Abdulazeez described the prompt payment of MRTF to the doctors as a significant milestone.

The development, he said demonstrated the administration’s dedication to investing in the next generation of medical professionals.

He observed that the present administration has shown commitment in prioritising the health and wellbeing of the people of the state.

“The state government’s commitment to residency training has paved the way for a brighter future for healthcare in Kwara,” he said.
