Senator Mao Ohuabunwa (PDP Abia North 2015 – 2019) has lauded the state governor, Alex Otti, for his Labour Party (LP) administration’s achievements in office.
Ohuabunwa stated this when he hosted Abia North Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders meeting at his Atani Arochukwu country home, Arochukwu local government.
He maintained that the governor had shown keen interest in good governance and infrastructure development of the state and urged him to sustain the tempo.
The host expressed delight with the ongoing construction of Omenuko Bridge across River Igwu at Ozu Abam as well as the Ozu Abam-Ndi Oji-Ndi Okereke- Arochukwu Road.
Ohuabunwa, who is the pro-chancellor of University of Port Harcourt, called on the PDP members to eschew bitterness and disunity and commended their steadfastness.
Speaking also, former secretary to the state government, Eme Okoro urged the stakeholders to work as a formidable team and ensure the success of the PDP in the zone.
Similarly, the state PDP chairman, Amah Abraham appreciated the senator for convening the meeting and enjoining the members to work for the party’s interest.
In their separate contributions, the zonal PDP chairman, Gabriel Elendu, and former state commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Ukwu Rocks Emma, sued for unity.
