The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday is meeting with the party’s chairmen from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting is holding at the party’s national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, under the leadership of the National Chairman, Abdulrahman Mohammed, and National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
All members of the NWC are also in attendance.
According to the party, the discussions are expected to cover its organisational strategies, the state of its structures nationwide and efforts to improve its political and electoral prospects.
The meeting brings the PDP’s national leadership and state chairmen together to discuss issues affecting the party as preparations for the 2027 general elections gather momentum.
