Egwu stated this when he led the executive committee of the zone to an official visit to Abia State chapter of the PDP in Umuahia, the state capital.

“We’re not merely a political structure-we are a movement, a family, a home for all who believe in justice, equity, good governance, and national unity.” he explained.

He said they came to assure the chapter on behalf of both the zonal executive committee and the national leadership of the PDP that the PDP still remains intact .

“The PDP is undergoing a strategic and deliberate process of rebuilding-one that will engage all loyal members, reinvigorate our structures, and restore confidence among our people”
