A United States of America-based faith foundation, Peacemakers Evangelical Ministries, has urged Nigerians to accord the present administration of President Bola Tinubu the needed support and cooperation for it to achieve its lofty Renewed Hope programmes for the citizenry.

This was at a peace prayer conference for the nation’s continued peace, progress and stability.

Convener of the prayer conference, Pastor Olushola Adedeji, believed that Nigeria’s democracy can only continue to thrive in the face of peaceful coexistence and enjoined leaders at all levels of government to make that a priority.

With the theme, “salting the nation”, participants said Nigeria’s democracy is a work in progress and do not require inimical acts that could retard the progress so far made.

While urging peace with one another and respect for constituted authorities, special supplications were offered for the nation, using the first family of President Tinubu as a point of contact.
