Obi made the announcement via his X (formerly Twitter) handle with a link to the TikTok page.

LEADERSHIP reports that TikTok is a leading video-centric social media platform. The mobile app is the most popular way to access TikTok, but internet users can also access the web version.

At the time of filing this report, the former Anambra State governor had already gained over 8,000 followers and 4,000 likes on his page @mr.peter.obi.

Obi uploaded a video announcing that it was his only official TikTok account, urging his followers to join him on his quest to build Nigeria.
