Obi was seen at the former president’s private residence, a day after Buhari was laid to rest in his hometown.

The former Nigerian leader, who served as both military Head of State and civilian President was buried on Tuesday in line with Islamic rites.

His funeral marked the end of a significant era in the country’s political history.

Buhari’s remains were interred at 5:50 p.m. following a funeral prayer led by the Imam of Central Mosque, Daura, Sheikh Salisu Rabiu.
