The music video of Phyno and Olamide’s Ojemba ranks number 27 on Youtube Trending Music with about 1.1 million views, nine days post its release.
The song which in Phynocentric-theme of thanksgiving to God, thanks the almighty maker for making him strong and proof against his enemies. It is also an artiste’s realization of who he is, and a confidence that he can never be like others, and that is okay.
The song is rendered in local languages of pidgin, English (though barely) and Yoruba. Phyno starts off with a sing-slow rap in Pidgin in two verses – which both ends with the last two lines in Igbo language, followed by the chorus: This little light of mine o, I’m gonna let it shine o, see wetin God don design o, Ojemba enwe ilo (The Traveler Has No Enemy).
Olamide raps the bridge which is tad fast paced than the Phyno’s:
