PICTORIAL: Akpabio Hosts Akwa Ibom-born UK’s Mayor Of Islington In Abuja

The Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, on Saturday, hosted the Mayor of Islington, Cllr Jason Utitofon Jackson, at his Abuja residence.

Mayor Jackson was in the company of his family, while Akpabio was also joined by his wife and some Senators and aides.

Taking to his verified Facebook page on Saturday night to announce the visit, Akpabio said Mayor Jackson was born in Nigeria and grew up in Hackney, East London, where he studied at City and Islington College, among others.

“Today, my wife, Unoma and I, proudly received in courtesy, an Akwa Ibom son; The Mayor of Islington, Cllr Jason Utitofon Jackson and his family in Abuja.

“Jackson was born in Nigeria and grew up in Hackney, East London, where he studied at City and Islington College.

“He later studied Business and Law at London Metropolitan University and then did a Master’s degree in Big Data in Culture and Society at King’s College, London,” Akpabio wrote.
