PICTORIAL: Benin Electoral Commission Visits INEC To Understudy Nigeria’s Electoral System

President of the Autonomous National Electoral Commission of Benin (CENA) of the Republic Benin Republic, Dr Sacca Lafia, on Monday, led a 12-member delegation to the headquarters of the Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.

The delegation, which comprised National Commissioners, Directors and critical staff, was on a study visit to INEC.

The delegation was warmly received by the chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, and other members of the Commission.

According to INEC, the primary aim of the visit was for CENA to learn from Nigeria’s electoral processes, procedures, and best practices as they prepare for their upcoming 2026 elections in Benin Republic.
