The arrest, which took place on Thursday, June 19, followed actionable intelligence linking the suspects to a series of alleged cybercrime activities.

In a statement issued by the Commission, the EFCC disclosed that several items were recovered from the suspects during the operation.

The items recovered included eight luxury vehicles, high-end laptops, and sophisticated mobile phones, believed to be tools used in the execution of fraudulent online schemes.

EFCC added that the suspects are currently in its custody and will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
