PICTORIAL: FCT Minister Wike, Wife Celebrate Son’s Call To Bar

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Tuesday, joined the Body of Benchers’ procession at the Call to Bar ceremony in Abuja, where his son, Jordan, was formally admitted into the Nigerian Bar.

The minister and his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, celebrated the family’s milestone.

Wike’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, confirmed the development in a post on his official X handle, where he shared photos and a video of the family.

“Happy Dad and Mum. FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike, with their son, Jordan, who is to be called to Bar today,” Olayinka wrote.

The Body of Benchers had earlier announced the schedule for the distribution of invitation cards to aspirants due for the Call to Bar between September 23 and 25, 2025.

The notice, signed by Fatima Idris Ali, on behalf of the Secretary, stated that collection began on September 18 at the Body of Benchers Complex in Abuja. Aspirants were required to present their Law School identity cards.

The Call to Bar ceremony is a statutory event that ushers successful law graduates into the legal profession.
