The Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) has arrested five young and women for disrupting traffic while filming a skit video on the Muhammadu Buhari Interchange, a flyover on a major road in Hotoro area of Kano.

The agency’s Deputy Commander, Auwal Lawan Aranposu, confirmed the arrest to journalists.

He said the youths were apprehended in the act while recording videos, a development that posed a threat to public safety by potentially causing accident and obstructing traffic flow.

According to Aranposu, the group has been handed over to the Hisbah Board for further investigation.

KAROTA has also issued a stern warning to the public to desist from such behaviour, stating that it will not tolerate any conduct that inconveniences or endangers road users.
