PICTORIAL: Remi Tinubu, Others Pay Condolence Visit To COAS Lagbaja’s Home

The First Lady, Remi Tinubu, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja.

The First Lady, who was accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the wife of the National Security Adviser, Hajia Ribadu, was received by the wife of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Mrs Oghogho Musa.

 

Mrs Tinubu prayed for the deceased’s family. While comforting the wife, Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, and the children, Senator Tinubu, in a statement by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, noted that the Lord only can determine when a man dies.

She urged them to be comforted by the good life and legacies Late Lt.-Gen. Lagbaja left behind. She urged the children to remain focused and pursue the ideals their father lived for.

 

LEADERSHIP reports that the Late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, died on Tuesday in Lagos after a period of illness at the age of 56 years.
