PICTORIAL: Top Gov’t, Party Officials See Off Tinubu As President Departs For France In New Jet

President Bola Tinubu, on Monday afternoon, departed Abuja for Paris, France, for an undisclosed reason.

Tinubu was airlifted in a new Airbus A330, which replaced the 19-year-old Boeing B737-700(BBJ) bought under the Presidency of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The President was seen off at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja by the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio; APC national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje; Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume; Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and FCT MInister, Nyesom Wike, among other top government officials.

LEADERSHIP reports that the President will return to the country after “his brief work stay” in France, according to a statement issued late Sunday night by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale.
