Langyi, who toured electoral wards in his constituency while addressing the crowd that came out to welcome him, said he decided to go not just to express his appreciation  for the gesture done to him by the people of Langtang North-north but to also reiterate his commitment to provide purposeful  legislation that would entrench good governance and execute projects that have direct bearing on people at the grassroots.

The lawmaker also used the opportunity to brief his constituents  on the activities of the 10th assembly.

According to him, he has moved a motion during plenary on the need for the leadership of the House to constitute an ad-hoc committee to look into the possibilities of revamping the PRTVC booster  stations in Dangkang, Shendam and Mangun in Mangu for effective dissemination  of government’s policies to the people at the grassroots.

Langyi said skills development for decent work and livelihood is key to sustainable peace and stability of any nation and to achieve that objective, he has also moved a motion on the floor of the assembly calling on the Plateau State government to urgently revive all moribund technical and vocational skills acquisition centres in the state.
