Nwantiri made the disclosure in Jos, the state capital when he spoke on the security situation in the area.

According to him, one person was killed in Barki Ladi while three were killed in Riyom in  midnight attacks.

It will be recalled that Mangu LGA too came under attack on Sunday where over 20 people were killed and thousands displaced leading to the imposition of 24 hours curfew by the interim management committee chairman, Hon Markus Artu.

Meanwhile, the Plateau State chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) Muhammad Nuru Abdullahi has accused security personnel of taking side in the lingering crisis between the herders and local farmers.
