Police Affairs, Transportation Ministers Bid Farewell

The ministers of Police Affairs, Mohammed Maigari Dingyadi has step down after handed over the affairs of the ministry to the permanent secretary of the ministry, Dr Abel Enitan.

This is even as the minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo also bid farewell to the ministry, stating that he has moved the ministry higher than when he came in.

The minister of Police Affairs, while appreciating the staff of the ministry, said it was their hard work, dedication, commitment that lead to the successes recorded at the ministry. 

The minister also said they have achieved 95 per cent of their mandate and the establishment of Police Trust Fund, purchase and equipping the Nigeria Police were some of his achievements.

He singled out the permanent secretary for his dedication to work, stating that “he has been so wonderful and hardworking in his duties.

“He is a man of procedure and always ensure that things are done in the right way. With him by my side, it was easier to treat memo.”

The minister however, noted that insecurity, terrorism and kidnapping were some of the challenges faced.
