The inspector-general of police, IGP Olukayode Egbetekun, said the Force has arrested about 30,313 suspects in 2024 for their involvement in various crimes across the country.

The IGP stated this at the end-of-the-year press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.

The meeting, which took place at the Goodluck Ebele Peacekeeping Hall, Force Headquarters Abuja, reviewed the Force‘s achievements in 2024 and outlined strategic plans for innovation and adaptability as the Force prepares for the coming year‘s challenges.
